It had been a long time since I had been rejecting the proposals coming to me from close friends and relatives as I always wanted my life partner to be helpful, co-operative and a one who could be my best friend. Then, a friend of mine suggested me to have an account in Shaadi.com. Within a couple of days after I had an account, I received an express of interest from Gaurav from Delhi. After chatting for a couple of days he called me up for the first time. Though, he sounded a well behaved, well mannered and a decent guy, I still wanted to meet him before coming to any decision. As I was in Dehradun at that time and he was also on tour, we decided to meet up in Saharanpur on 16th May, 2012. The whole day we were together and discussed everything from family to friends. When I was returning back to Dehradun, I had made up my mind that he's the guy I want to get settled down. His parents were on Europe tour at that time and after they came back we told our parents at the same time and they gave their blessings n then the rokka was held on 1st of July,2012 in Delhi only. After that the engagement was on 24th October,2012 and finally the wedding on 5th Dec,2012. I could have posted my story earlier also but after spending 6 months with him, I have realised that this is the best thing that could ever happen to me.
