I sent Anupama a request in March of 2007. We spoke for the first time on April fools day (April 1, 2007). We hit if off right away, we spoke on the phone for several hours. At that time I was in Arizona and Anu was in California. I flew out to California on May 4th to meet her for the first time. It was love at first sight! Long story short we had a long distance relationship from April 2007 - June 2010 when I moved to California for her. We got engaged on March 7, 2010 and we got married on July 3, 2010.
