After deciding that it is a time to get married, I, Amardeep came across lot of shaadi.com ads in south Asian TV channels and lots of pops up during web surfing, I opened my account there. My dad came across this profile and sent the interest to them. After getting acceptance from Raman and her parents, my dad contacted her parents. Our parents observed that both of us make a perfect couple. I talked to her on phone and even had video chatting sessions for some days before we both gave nod to our parents to go ahead. Both families were un familiar to each other. This was a great hurdle to proceed further. Finally our parents could find one common friend, who some what brokered our marriage plans further. We being in USA, could not see each other personally, but my uncles, who live in Delhi, met Raman?s parents along with our common friend, performed Roka ceremony in July 2010. Rest planning was done by our parents and finally we came to India and got married on 14th November 2010. Finally marriage was arranged at Khanna Punjab on 14th November 2010.
